Emergency vet bill for Poppy in Lalitpur
Poppy, Kamala's rabbit, needs urgent treatment for bloat costing $450.

Poppy is my rabbit of two years. On 1 August we rushed to Lalitpur Animal Hospital with bloat. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $450.
They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $25 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Lalitpur Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Poppy's recovery.
Where the $450 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $310
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $75
• Medication and follow-up visits: $25
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $40
