Emergency vet bill for Poppy in Kawasaki

Please help Tatsuya pay for Poppy's emergency treatment at Kawasaki Veterinary Centre.

Kawasaki
Poppy is my German shepherd of eleven years. On 19 January we rushed to Kawasaki Veterinary Centre with bloat. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $700. They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond March. Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $115 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Kawasaki Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Poppy's recovery. Where the $700 goes: • Hospitalization (4 nights): $450 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $155 • Medication and follow-up visits: $95 Thank you so much.

Updates from Tatsuya

  1. Thank you all. We're at 86% now ($601). I'm honestly stunned. we've started the first stage.

  2. Wanted to say thank you properly. 71% funded and I met with the vet clinic and confirmed the amounts.

  3. Update from Kawasaki: we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. We're at 24% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Tatsuya?

Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about hospitalization (4 nights), advice is welcome too. Fair thing to want to know.

  • Aarti A. Panwar

Sending strength. Looking forward to the next update. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Kawasaki.

Hang in there, Tatsuya. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Uberlândia so I could bring a meal

Keep going. I hope things turn around soon. Greetings from Cork.

Keep going, Tatsuya. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 19 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Kawasaki!

Hope it all works out. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Sent it to 18 people at work.
