Oscar is my rescue greyhound of thirteen years. On 29 April we rushed to Gatineau Animal Hospital with bloat. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,500. They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond July. Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $210 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Gatineau Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Oscar's recovery.
