Emergency vet bill for Oscar in Erie
Oscar, Brielle's rescue greyhound, needs urgent treatment for a ruptured cruciate ligament costing $2,250.

Oscar is my rescue greyhound of two years. On 11 August we rushed to the Erie Emergency Vet Clinic with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,250.
They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond December.
Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $260 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Erie Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Oscar's recovery.
Where the $2,250 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,800
• Medication and follow-up visits: $145
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $305
