Emergency vet bill for Ollie in Zapopan
A German shepherd named Ollie needs orthopedic surgery - a $650 bill the family can't cover.

Ollie is my German shepherd of six years. On 14 July we rushed to the Zapopan Emergency Vet Clinic with bloat. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $650.
They have stabilized Ollie, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Ollie is more than a pet - Ollie is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Zapopan Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ollie's recovery.
Where the $650 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $360
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $135
• Medication and follow-up visits: $35
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $120
