Emergency vet bill for Mocha in San Diego
Mocha, Declan's rescue greyhound, needs urgent treatment for bloat costing $1,050.

Mocha is my rescue greyhound of eleven years. On 25 April we rushed to San Diego Animal Hospital with bloat. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,050.
They have stabilized Mocha, but the treatment can't wait beyond June.
Mocha is more than a pet - Mocha got me through my hardest year. I have already put $230 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to San Diego Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Mocha's recovery.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $310
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $280
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $460
Thanks for reading all this.

You're not alone, Declan. This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best
