Emergency vet bill for Mocha in Edinburgh
A senior cat named Mocha needs emergency surgery - a $2,700 bill the family can't cover.

Mocha is my senior cat of thirteen years. On 18 May we rushed to Edinburgh Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,700.
They have stabilized Mocha, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Mocha is more than a pet - Mocha walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $260 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Edinburgh Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Mocha's recovery.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,750
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $590
• Medication and follow-up visits: $240
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $120
