Ginger is my rescue greyhound of three years. On 28 April we rushed to Sydney Animal Hospital with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,000. They have stabilized Ginger, but the treatment can't wait beyond June. Ginger is more than a pet - Ginger walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $340 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Sydney Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals. Where the $1,000 goes: • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $120 • Medication and follow-up visits: $200 • Hospitalization (3 nights): $680 I hope life is good to you. - Justine
