Emergency vet bill for Daisy in São Paulo
A cat named Daisy needs emergency surgery - a $600 bill the family can't cover.

Daisy is my cat of six years. On 28 August we rushed to São Paulo Veterinary Centre with severe tick fever. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $600.
They have stabilized Daisy, but the treatment can't wait beyond December.
Daisy is more than a pet - Daisy walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to São Paulo Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.

• Emergency surgery: $310
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $180
• Medication and follow-up visits: $70
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $40
