Emergency vet bill for Bruno in Kikuyu
Bruno, Nafula's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for a ruptured cruciate ligament costing $450.

Bruno is my German shepherd of nine years. On 16 August we rushed to Kikuyu Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $450.
They have stabilized Bruno, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Bruno is more than a pet - Bruno is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $35 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Kikuyu Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Bruno's recovery.

• Hospitalization (4 nights): $60
• Medication and follow-up visits: $25
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $45
