Emergency vet bill for Biscuit in São Paulo
Biscuit, Bianca's dog, needs urgent treatment for a ruptured cruciate ligament costing $650.

Biscuit is my dog of nine years. On 15 August we rushed to São Paulo Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $650.
They have stabilized Biscuit, but the treatment can't wait beyond December.
Biscuit is more than a pet - Biscuit got me through my hardest year. I have already put $70 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to São Paulo Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $650 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $40
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $45
• Emergency surgery: $565
