Emergency vet bill for Archie in Kyiv
A dog named Archie needs emergency surgery - a $250 bill the family can't cover.
🇺🇦 Kyiv, Kyiv, Ukraine888 views
Archie is my dog of thirteen years. On 22 August we rushed to Kyiv Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $250.
They have stabilized Archie, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Archie is more than a pet - Archie walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Kyiv Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $250 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $55
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $80
• Emergency surgery: $115
Glad we found this place.

Praying for you, Polina. Give Archie a hug from me. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry!
Wishing you peace, Polina. Hope you get there. Take care.
stay strong. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Thinking of Kyiv

Thinking of you, Polina. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care.
