Elena wants to stay at home - help fund six months of care
Elena can't afford the care She needs after a stroke last April; we're asking for $550.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 85. After a stroke last April Elena can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Elena desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Elena worked all of her life as a schoolteacher, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $550 goes:
• Part-time carer (six months): $310
• Medication and prescriptions: $100
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $90
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $50
If you're reading this, thank you.
