The electricity account is 2 months behind. Louise received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless $900 is paid. She had never been late before my partner leaving the household. Louise called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $170 first, which isn't available. The household includes a newborn, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature. Louise is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
