The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. Hadley received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on February unless $750 is paid. She had never been late before an unexpected car repair. Hadley called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $110 first, which isn't available. The household includes three children under ten, and going through the rainy season without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature. Hadley is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
