Electricity and water shut-off notice: help Elias pay $850
Help Elias cover an overdue electricity and water bill so the household stays safe this the cold months.

The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on June unless I pay $850. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $150 first, which I don't have.
I live with a disabled brother, and going through the cold months without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Elias's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $850 goes:
• Gas arrears: $600
• Reconnection and late fees: $125
• Down payment on a payment plan: $125
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. We're a small family in Madina but we're thinking of you.
