Electrician needed urgently: Modupe's home isn't safe
Looking for a licensed electrician in Port Harcourt to donate time or work at cost.

In August an inspector told me that my home has a burst pipe behind the wall. It's a safety risk for me and my elderly mother. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $220 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed electrician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $25.
The job should take about six hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're an electrician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hope things get better soon, Modupe. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Thinking of Port Harcourt
A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Put this on a community board in Málaga this morning. All the best.
I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Bakersfield donated after I showed her your page. Blessings.
