I coordinate donations at Acacia Women's Shelter in San Diego. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in San Diego, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Acacia Women's Shelter on Friday between 9am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Acacia Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Thinking of you, Wesley. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.

        • Praying for you. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings
