Donate a coat: Vanessa is collecting for 104 families
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Baobab Family Centre.

I coordinate donations at the Baobab Family Centre in Santos. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Santos, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Baobab Family Centre on Tuesday between 9am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Baobab Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

So sorry you're going through this, Vanessa. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care!
Best of luck, Vanessa. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes!

Hope things get better soon. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Put this on a community board in San Cristóbal de las Casas this morning. God bless.
Sending love, Vanessa. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Nairobi.
Rooting for you, Vanessa. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better
Thinking of you. Shared it with a few friends. I have a 10 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Santos.
