I coordinate donations at the Jacaranda Mosque in Agra. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Agra, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Jacaranda Mosque on Sunday between 10am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Jacaranda Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Thank you for reading my story.

  • Keep going. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
