I coordinate donations at the Unity Family Centre in Guadalajara. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Guadalajara, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Unity Family Centre on Thursday between 11am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Unity Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Stay strong, Tomás. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Wish I lived closer to Ankara so I could bring a meal. Blessings.

    • Keep going, Tomás. Shared it with a few friends. Thinking of Guadalajara.

      • Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Bangkok this morning.

        • A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Guadalajara.

          • Stay strong, Tomás. Shared it with a few friends. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Take care.
