I coordinate donations at Lotus Refugee Centre in Mumbai. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Mumbai, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Lotus Refugee Centre on Monday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Lotus Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Glad we found this place.

Praying for you, Suresh. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Aurora donated after I showed her your page. Blessings
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Cartagena this morning.
