I coordinate donations at the Pioneer Mosque in Fresno. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Fresno, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Pioneer Mosque on Wednesday between 10am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Pioneer Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

you're not alone. Shared it with a few friends. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best.
Wishing you the best. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Greetings from Kano.
rooting for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Iztapalapa.
Thinking of you. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Put this on a community board in Ballarat this morning.
Sending good thoughts, Stella. Looking forward to the next update. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care.
