I coordinate donations at the Liberty Primary School in Zapopan. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Zapopan, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Liberty Primary School on Thursday between 10am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Liberty Primary School clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Your post was clear and honest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Zapopan.

    • Sending love. Shared this with my family. I hope April is when things finally get easier.

Praying for you, Rodrigo. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better
