I coordinate donations at the Unity Mosque in Dwarka. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Dwarka, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Unity Mosque on Wednesday between 9am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Unity Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Praying for you. This could happen to any of us. Put this on a community board in Aurangabad this morning. God bless.
Praying for you, Priyanka. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
Thinking of you and your family. I hope things turn around soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Dwarka
keep going. This could happen to any of us. Take care
Take care, Priyanka. Looking forward to the next update. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out.
