Kasarani
I coordinate donations at the Unity Mosque in Kasarani. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Kasarani, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Unity Mosque on Tuesday between 9am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Unity Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Wishing you the best, Paul. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Fort Worth.

    • Thinking of you and your family, Paul. Hope you get there. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Kasarani.

      • Shared it with a few friends. Greetings from Dhaka.
