Kasarani
I coordinate donations at the Pioneer Community Church in Kasarani. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Kasarani, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Pioneer Community Church on Thursday between 10am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Pioneer Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

  • Sending love. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My neighbor in Córdoba donated after I showed her your page.

    • everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Bronx.

      • Thanks for sharing this, Opio. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. God bless
