I coordinate donations at the Lotus Primary School in Newcastle upon Tyne. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Newcastle upon Tyne, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Lotus Primary School on Monday between 9am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Lotus Primary School clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I hope life is good to you.

  • looking forward to the next update. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Geelong.

    • You're not alone, Natalie. This could happen to any of us. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings.

      • Sending strength, Natalie. Hope this works out for you. After 28 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything
