Donate a coat: Musyoka is collecting for 38 families
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Union Community Church.
🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda101 views
I coordinate donations at the Union Community Church in Kampala. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Kampala, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Union Community Church on Saturday between 10am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Union Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

So sorry you're going through this, Musyoka. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Blessings.
Take care. Looking forward to the next update. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Kampala
Hope things get better soon, Musyoka. Hope you get there.
