Coats, boots, hats and gloves are needed before the cold snap.

I coordinate donations at the Jacaranda Mosque in Embakasi. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Embakasi, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Jacaranda Mosque on Thursday between 9am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Jacaranda Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

sending strength, Mary. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I hope November is when things finally get easier
Sending love. Hope you get there. It's not much but it's yours. Greetings from Nairobi.
