Donate a coat: Lawrence is collecting for 58 families
Lawrence is collecting new or gently used winter clothing for children at Jacaranda Refugee Centre in Tallahassee.

I coordinate donations at Jacaranda Refugee Centre in Tallahassee. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Tallahassee, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Jacaranda Refugee Centre on Tuesday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Jacaranda Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
