I coordinate donations at the Union Mosque in Naivasha. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Naivasha, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Union Mosque on Tuesday between 9am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Union Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • Hang in there. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry

    • Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Enugu.

A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Greetings from Fresno.

        • Sending good thoughts, Kevin. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. God bless.

          • Sending love. Hope you get there. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
