Donate a coat: Jordan is collecting for 71 families
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Unity Family Centre.

I coordinate donations at the Unity Family Centre in Riverside. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Riverside, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Unity Family Centre on Tuesday between 9am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Unity Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Stay strong, Jordan. Shared it with a few friends. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Hope things get better soon. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out.
