I coordinate donations at the Baobab Community Church in Detroit. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Detroit, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Baobab Community Church on Tuesday between 11am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Baobab Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

  • Rooting for you, Isabella. Looking forward to the next update. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings.

    • I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in Quezon City but we're thinking of you. Take care
