San Crist贸bal de las Casas
I coordinate donations at Union Refugee Centre in San Crist贸bal de las Casas. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in San Crist贸bal de las Casas, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Union Refugee Centre on Monday between 9am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Union Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

  • Thinking of you and your family, Emilio. Your post was clear and honest. Love from Jessore.

    • Wishing you the best. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of San Crist贸bal de las Casas.

      • Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. After 12 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything!

        • Gave what I could, wish it was more. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Love from Bekasi.

          • Good luck, Emilio. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. God bless.
