Donate a coat: Corazon is collecting for 95 families
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Acacia Community Church.

I coordinate donations at the Acacia Community Church in Pasig. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Pasig, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Acacia Community Church on Thursday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Acacia Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone.

Good luck. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Pasig.
