I coordinate donations at Maple Women's Shelter in Karachi. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Karachi, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Maple Women's Shelter on Saturday between 9am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Maple Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hope it all works out. Hope you get there. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Messina
You're not alone. Hope this works out for you. My neighbor in Rochester donated after I showed her your page.
So sorry you're going through this, Bushra. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Thinking of Karachi
