I coordinate donations at the Union Community Church in Naivasha. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Naivasha, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Union Community Church on Sunday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Union Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

so sorry you're going through this, Auma. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. God bless.
A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My neighbor in Bronx donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Bronx
hope things get better soon. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless.
Sending good thoughts, Auma. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Stay strong, Auma. I hope things turn around soon. Thinking of Naivasha.
