I coordinate donations at Jacaranda Refugee Centre in Jalandhar. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Jalandhar, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Jacaranda Refugee Centre on Saturday between 10am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Jacaranda Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Sending love, Anand. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Blessings.
Rooting for you. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Blessings
So sorry you're going through this, Anand. Shared it with a few friends. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Lagos
Good luck, Anand. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I have a 11 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Jalandhar.
wishing you peace, Anand. Looking forward to the next update. Wish I lived closer to Augusta so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Jalandhar
