Donate a coat: Adeline is collecting for 111 families
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Harmony Mosque.
🇦🇺 Parramatta, New South Wales, AustraliaPosted Oct 1, 2026236 views
I coordinate donations at the Harmony Mosque in Parramatta. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Parramatta, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Harmony Mosque on Monday between 10am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Harmony Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Thinking of you and your family. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. We're a small family in Kolkata but we're thinking of you. God bless
sending good thoughts. Your post was clear and honest. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Nashik.
Sending love. This could happen to any of us. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Santa Fe.
