Don't let Ximena's family go through summer without electricity
A disconnection notice for electricity arrived and Ximena needs $600 before November.

The electricity account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $600. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $135 first, which I don't have.
I live with two young children, and going through summer without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.

• Utility arrears: $250
• Reconnection and late fees: $120
• Down payment on a payment plan: $230
