Don't let Thabo's family go through the cold months without heating

A disconnection notice for heating arrived and Thabo needs $250 before July.

The heating account is 4 months behind. Thabo received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on July unless $250 is paid. He had never been late before my partner leaving the household. Thabo called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $35 first, which isn't available. The household includes a newborn, and going through the cold months without heating isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by. Thabo is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $250 goes: • Gas arrears: $150 • Reconnection and late fees: $20 • Down payment on a payment plan: $80 If you're reading this, thank you. - Vusi
