Don't let Michael's family go through summer without electricity

The electricity account is 3 months behind. Michael received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless $1,150 is paid. He had never been late before losing my job in June.
Michael called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $65 first, which isn't available.
The household includes three children under ten, and going through summer without electricity isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
Michael is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
