Don't let Leonardo's family go through summer without gas

The gas account is 4 months behind. Leonardo received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless $450 is paid. He had never been late before my partner leaving the household. Leonardo called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $85 first, which isn't available. The household includes three children under ten, and going through summer without gas isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
