The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. Irfan received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $100 is paid. He had never been late before my partner leaving the household.
Irfan called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $10 first, which isn't available.
The household includes three children under ten, and going through winter without electricity and water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
Irfan is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
