Don't let Fitria's family go through the rainy season without electricity
Fitria is behind on electricity bills after an unexpected car repair and needs $100 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $100. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through the rainy season without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Fitria's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $100 goes:
• Utility arrears: $30
• Reconnection and late fees: $20
• Down payment on a payment plan: $50
Thank you so much.
