The heating account is 3 months behind. Filippo received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on July unless $350 is paid. He had never been late before a reduction in hours.
Filippo called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $70 first, which isn't available.
The household includes an elderly mother, and going through summer without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Filippo is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
