The electricity account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless I pay $200. I have never been late before a reduction in hours. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $35 first, which I don't have. I live with a disabled brother, and going through summer without electricity isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Fabiana's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates. Where the $200 goes: • Heating arrears: $125 • Reconnection and late fees: $55 • Down payment on a payment plan: $20 Thank you for reading my story.

Best of luck, Fabiana. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Erie.
