The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless I pay $800. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $150 first, which I don't have. I live with an elderly mother, and going through summer without electricity and water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
