Don't let Beatriz's family go through summer without electricity and water
Beatriz is behind on electricity and water bills after an unexpected car repair and needs $200 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless I pay $200. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $45 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through summer without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $200 goes:
• Heating arrears: $75
• Reconnection and late fees: $50
• Down payment on a payment plan: $75
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Keep going. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Kazan
Stay strong. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings!
You're not alone, Beatriz. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 16 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
